DITA-FMx Commands

A description of the commands and functionality available in DITA-FMx.

• New DITA File
  Creates a new empty DITA map or topic file.
• Insert Topicref
  Add a new topicref to a DITA map file or change the selected topicref to reference a new file.
• Insert Conref
  Displays the Reference Manager which lets you insert a content reference.
• Assign ID to Element
  Assigns a generated ID to the selected element.
• Update References
  Updates the content of topicrefs, conrefs, or xrefs.
• Generate Output
  Provides methods for generating output through the DITA Open Toolkit (DITA-OT) from within FrameMaker.
• Options
  Specify options for DITA-FMx and the import/export client.
