Running the Installer

After DITA-FMx 2.0 has been installed, run the XDocsFMx 2.0 installer application.

Follow the installation prompts to install on FrameMaker version 7.2 and later. This will copy the following files into the FrameMaker\DITA-FMx folder:

XDocsFMx_<fmver>.dll: The client plugin file (different names for each FrameMaker version).
XDocs.chm: The XDocsFMx online Help file.

Note: XDocsFMx no longer requires the XDFMx structure applications, thus they are not included. You should be able to use any structure applications that work with DITA-FMx.

After the installation application has completed, start FrameMaker and log in to XDocs.
