Installing BookXRefs

If you are reinstalling, there is no need to uninstall the old version, but you may want to make a backup of the BookXRefs.INI file to save your settings. For information about uninstalling this tool, see Uninstalling BookXRefs.

  1. Extract the installer executable file from the ZIP file.
  2. Run the installer and select the FrameMaker version to install into.

If this is the first time you have installed BookXRefs you will need to enter the authorization code before it can be used. You can request a 30-day trial code by choosing the Pubs-Tools > BookXRefs > Try Now command. Enter your trial or full authorization code by choosing the Pubs-Tools > BookXRefs > Enter Authorization Code command.
